PROPS AND BACKDROPS
Viola van Melle
CREATIVE DIRECTOR -
Viola van Melle graduated from the Utrecht School of the Arts in 1998, majoring in fashion design. After graduating, she founded "Props and Backdrops" in Amsterdam. She creates and designs textile objects, clothing, and backdrops for various clients.
Previously she also worked on behalf of a decor company, making inflatable objects and decor for Lowlands, the Olympic Games, the Rolling Stones and Beyoncé MTV, Loveland, etc. In addition, she designed and made props CLOTHING and props with Props and Backdrops for, among others, the image campaigns with a fashion slant for Gucci, Amnesty, Tweetakt festival, IJmstudio, Imps&Elfs, Oililly and (inter)national magazines such as Grazia casa, ELLE Wonen and Eigen Huis & Interieur.
